Quest Journal

Everyone has a story. What will yours be?

A personal journal for the worlds you explore and the memories you create there.

Coming to iPhone

Quest Journal’s World of Warcraft: Forever journal in front of its multi-game Timeline, shown against a restrained cartographic landscape.

Some games stay with you for years: the characters you’ve created, the places you’ve explored and the moments that make an impact. Quest Journal gives you somewhere to keep them, so the story of your adventures doesn’t fade away.

Remember the journey

Write about a long night’s raid, a hard-won victory, a turning point in your character’s story or a view you didn’t want to forget. Quest Journal is best suited to MMOs, RPGs and the worlds you return to again and again, but every game has a story worth keeping.

A journal, not a backlog

There’s nothing to complete here. No backlog to clear, no percentages, no pile of “finished” games. Quest Journal isn’t about how much you’ve played, but what you’ve experienced whilst doing it.

Timeline and Calendar

Every entry takes its place on your Timeline, so you can scroll back through your adventures as they happened, or search for a moment you want to relive. Jump directly to a key moment with the Calendar.

A journal for every game

Your Library gathers each game’s entries into its own journal, so your story always has a home. Give each game an icon from your own images, or add a free SteamGridDB key and let Quest Journal find one for you.

Remember the finer details

Note the character you were playing, where you were and tags of your own, and add screenshots and photos to enhance your memories.

Yours, and private

Your journal is stored on your iPhone and synchronised via iCloud when iCloud is available. There’s no account to create, and no analytics, advertising or tracking.

Quest Journal is coming to iPhone. It requires iOS 17 or later.
